This is your daily reminder that being anti-facist isn't political, it's just good common sense!
-
whatever book they are talking about that has a whole compendium of humor, im not sure what exactly it is

I can picture this very German explanation of what humour is. A technical manual on it and how to be funny, and yet not a single "lol" was had in the reading

German humour is no laughing matter.

I read they're a group from the UK
-
The joke is that Germans love bureaucracy and design and don't do humor, as evidenced by some German chocolate my dad got at LAX that described itself as square and practical.

You don’t get a “vroom” from reading a car manual, either.

News from today; german prosecutor is investigating against the guys who projected this on the Teslafactory for showing illegal Nazi symbolics. So: for german prosecutors it definitely was a Nazi salute.
-
Ritter Sport? If so, don't forget the part where it described itself as good!

You call it what it was, a Nazi salute.
Because if he cries defamation and wants to sue, stand there in court and give the judge the finger. The judge shoukd either accept that hand gestures have commonly accepted meanings or endure the whole case while you give everyone the finger. Probably make a few wanking motions with your hand for good measure...

So this will be added as a right wing crime in the logs? Got it
-
I had to look it up but that's totally it, lol

Because it's the heart of a Nazi, anyway.

german news media reports this is fake picture? Is that true?
-
No, it's real. It was an art installation at the Tesla Factory Berlin.
-
Damn you are right, this rbb (german funded media) article in german reports this in detail
https://www.rbb24.de/panorama/beitrag/2025/01/tesla-gruenheide-led-by-donkeys-zentrum-fuer-politische-schoenheit-beamer-projektion-fassade.htmlGerman police started investigating the activists for showing "unlawful symbols". Are they serious?

Yes. He is a nazi performing a nazi salute which is prohibited for good reasons.
So that specific image where Elon basically comes clean as the Nazi he is, is in fact prohibited.I mean why shouldn't this be unlawful?
It is because he is a rich billionaire and they cannot be bad right? /s

no I mean the activists who projected the image at the factory are investigated for a crime, for showing Musk.

Ah sorry for the misunderstanding.
Yes it is. Even though it is satirical, it it still 'wrong' imagery. But a 10/10 message. -

Are they serious, like showing images of Musk doing this is unlawful?
Potentially, which I guess might have been the entire point. The ZPS is no stranger to provoking law suites, and since Musk did this in the US this might be their attempt at baiting the German jurisdiction to take a stance on it.
That said the article you linked says the police talks about having an "Anfangsverdacht" (initial suspicion), which basically means "we have heard about it and will look into it".
