"Just buy specific phone Dabadu and skibidi the PARIS "IridiumOS" on it with this WebXYZ tool after doing these 5 (weird) simple steps while ignoring warnings from the WuwuzelaLoader that your Dabadu phone might break if you proceed" IS NOT OKAY.

@Natanox it's not just privacy.

@Drayventhal Accessibility, affordability, compatibility, security… it's a lot of things.
FOSS people are good at some more than others, but what way too many of them lack of a sense for accessibility. Some just expect everyone to be as nerdy as them and put 20 hours into setting up their PC or smartphone because hey, if they care for themselves they should do that, right? And then of course there are the "it's good enough" crowd when it comes to professional software alternatives… arrrgh.

@Natanox @Drayventhal Documentation, too. I haven't been able to find any sign of Scribus documentation that isn't over ten years old (for a program that's still actively developed), for example. Some of it even includes dead links, when the backstop for dead links has put itself in danger...

@pteryx @Drayventhal With Scribus I think it's due to too few help with the project, not them being dicks or something… that of course is a real problem as well.

@Drayventhal @pteryx Completely understandable. It's very unfortunate Scribus ain't where it has to be - like I said, I think I once read that they are having trouble finding enough support. Other than f.e. GIMP who got slow but steady progress, Scribus is too specific for now.
Hope this changes with improved Linux usage on desktop in the future.

@Natanox @Drayventhal Here's the thing, though... without better documentation, there won't *be* any more widespread Linux desktop usage.

@pteryx @Drayventhal Indeed, it would be one of the first things that have to get fixed! Hope the few contributors can do it soon themselves.
