You know what would be a great feature on an iPhone?
The ability to turn off Silence Unknown Callers for a specific time period.
I turn it off all the time for callbacks, deliveries, and other random phone calls that I know are going to be happening in the next few hours. You have to turn off the firewall sometimes.
And then I forget to turn it back on and get a stupid telemarketer the next day.
Pretty sure this little computer could remember to do it for me.

@chockenberry Unsolicited, I realise, but it popped in my head… is this something that could be Shortcutted (ok, I'm still Automatering, but whatever it is now)? Seems like you could use it to, say,
turn SUC off
wait 12h
turn SUC onYou could get fancy I suppose and ask for the delay period.
You'd just have to remember to use that instead of digging into the menu to do it manually (I always use the search).

@chockenberry Similarly: Temporary/ephemeral contacts would be great! Don't know if iPhone has this, but never seen it on Android at least. Lots of times I have to interact with someone just for a few days. So, to call them back or to know it's them when they call I add them to my contacts. And then they clutter up my contacts for all time after that. People has to do this in business settings constantly, right? So why isn't this a feature?
