They tweaked Penny's heart failure medication and yesterday was a really good day for her. She refolded the towels. I fold in thirds, she squares
Still mountains to climb but it was a good day. After her trip on Monday, was expecting her to be down all-day Tuesday
Also pleased that she is now at her dry weight, as the water pills are working. All told, she gained 42 pounds of water in the week before her heart attack when she entered the cICU, and as of yesterday, she is down 43 pounds

2/ The day of her heart attack, Penny was wearing a cute red dress for the first time that she had bought, and the ER had to cut it off her.
Yesterday, she wanted to go get another one. So, they took her to the store.
I think heart attack aside, them cutting that red dress off her was the most troubling for her and has been on her mind from her first conscious thought after being taken off the ventilator until she got it replaced.
She now has a red, tan and black of the same style. :awesome:

LOL. For almost 35 years that has been the laundry wars in our house. We have two stacks in our home. His and her towels. Mine are thirds, hers are squares.
Interestingly, when there is company, she wants thirds for them because it is more hotelish.
