It's so funny to me that for decades, AI was going to be "the future" and it'd change everything. There were movies made about robots that had their own personalities and bordered on being alive. There were questions raised about an AI becoming a real person. It was a lot.

But now that we actually have what companies have decided to call "AI," what are we using it for? Summarizing articles and composing emails. We use it to read and write less. That's about it.
