1. At a glance some of these may be storing their data in the US. There's no data sovereignty requirement in most cases and it is worth doing due diligence on that first
2. In some cases the degree that it will help is muted or may make things worse. Check what is actually stored
3. Some of these are not drop-in replacements or may have other considerations (e.g., in one case it involves proof of work)

In some cases you aren't actually improving your situation by moving to a smaller company for a variety of reasons that I'm happy to talk about some time.
That said, some of these alternatives are _quite_ good and worth looking at for your individual use case.
It's just worth doing due diligence to make sure that you are actually getting what you want and that it is actually doing what you want, because just being "european" does not guarantee that (though it may help in other ways).
