@wdlindsy this has been happening to me for a long time.
Try posting almost anything from the tv series The Man In The High Castle -

@wdlindsy oh…you don’t know about the snitches do you .
You have at least 10 in your friends list -

@wdlindsy Friends of mine ran a Facebook fan page for an artist. They somehow made it onto the AI's (random?) shitlist, which means that they could throw some dice whether a link to a source would be allowed or not. They gave up running the page.

@wdlindsy Happened to me a long time ago on FB, I was complaining about Israel burning Palestine orchards. One knows there are people recruited or hired by entity's to do what we see happening. Plus I get a 500 popping up just now.

@Kierkegaanks Thank you. Yes, I wondered if those words were the trigger. But the other person who told me she'd post the graphic and see what happened did that, without blanking out those words, and Facebook did not take it down.

@Piousunyn Correct.

Three possible causes, none mutually exclusive...
1) An illiterate AI picture recognizer saw the swastikas, and presumed the worst thereafter. FB surely doesn't have the labor budget to review very many of these.
2) Perhaps contemporary crypto-nazis are exploiting these defective post-flagging algorithms, spitefully steering them in the opposite direction of their designers intent.
3) Malice, or virtual malice by way of greed-driven reckless negligence, on FB's part.

@Piousunyn You're right. I see that 500 box pop up on my page, too, and have never had any idea what it means.

@MishaVanMollusq I do take for granted that there are snitches on anyone's social media feed. How to know who they are is the challenge, isn't it?

@MishaVanMollusq I'm sorry you've experienced this kind of harassment, too.

@partnumber2 You've taught me a good new noun I hadn't encountered before: septic. I'm sorry you encountered this with Facebook, too.

@beingreal Again with the taunts. What good purpose do you really think you're serving by attacking people who are pursuing goals you claim to be pursuing, too? Couldn't that energy be so much better used by standing with people who may come from different starting points but are moving to the same ends you claim you want? What gives any of us the right to draw these kind of purist insider-outsider lines and declare ourselves the pure and others the impure? So dysfunctional.

@wood5y Yes, I think that's always been a common tactic in dealing with oppressive regimes, don't you? Enslaved people in the US South used coded language, singing certain spirituals as they worked to convey news to other enslaved people that someone had made a run for freedom, for example. Biblical scholars think that the book of the Apocalypse/Revelations in the Christian scriptures is written in symbolic, coded language, to convey meaning that evaded oppressive authority figures.
