I don't know much about Canadian politics, but do the tarrifs mean the Canadian right is in a bit of a bind? I mean, they can't ride the Trump coattails anymore, can they?

@thomholwerda Apparently the popularity of the Conservative and Liberal parties has flipped over the last two weeks. As someone elsewhere wrote, Trump somehow got the Québécois to sound like Canadian nationalists with these tariffs. Canadians are rightfully *pissed*. Does that hold until their election and what will it look like at the ballot box of course still remains to be seen. But all of the fait accompli talk about Conservatives are going to sweep the election is gone.
