Of course, the $30M won't all go to Bluesky. A great deal will be spent on salaries and flying these techbros and open systems posers to conferences around the world to continue to present themselves as very important people.

There's a lot of "foundations" popping up lately around social media tbh. Not saying they're all grifts like this clearly is. But people understand its importance and it's hard to not wonder how much of these "governing structures" are being stood up to just boost clout and maybe make a few bucks
