Ran into an issue with Celery+Redis+Gevent that was surprising and difficult to debug. If you see your Redis connection counts growing without limits you might need this one small config change. https://www.revsys.com/tidbits/redis-connections-growing-unbounded/

@frank do you think it's worth mentioning that this is for scenarios where redis is the the broker?
Side note, I'm curious what you're thoughts are on how to start pushing the valkey project forward? Should we start using that instead of redis in posts? Should we mention it at all? I may be a bit too invested since valkey sponsored DCUS and redis didn't.

@CodenameTim yeah in retrospect it might not be clear I'm talking about when Redis is the broker.
Long term I imagine most everyone moves to valkey, just haven't had a reason to yet so don't think to push it in content like that.

@frank @CodenameTim I work on the Valkey project, before that, I was a long-time Redis person.
Personally, I'd love to see Django start using Valkey in posts/docs/etc.
Glad to contribute updates/assist/support in any way I can.
(We would have supported DjangoCon Europe but it was too early in our cycle)

@linux_mclinuxface @frank Someone in the community made this package https://pypi.org/project/django-valkey/ too which is neat to see.
