Ignorant question:
Apparently aluminum is a very good electrical conductor. But it is very irresponsive to magnetism. How is this possible?
Do the two simply have nothing to do with each other?
What happens if you attempt to create an electromagnet with aluminum?

EDIT: At least one person has an explanation how a cybertruck could entirely plausibly ship like this if someone at the factory simply swapped two wires by accident
-
@mcc the most plausible explaination to me is that this car is plugged into a basic-ass 110v charger plugged into a socket where for whatever reason phase & earth are reversed
-
@mcc (“basic ass 110v charger” = one of the very slow ones thats just a cable with a normal plug at the other end)

@erincandescent
But shouldn't the charge circuitry refuse to charge? -
@dzwiedziu @mcc which charge circuitry. that in the car? how’s it to know ground is wrong. its not even grounded.
