@tchambers @Vivaldi amazing!!! Planning to install it first thing on Monday

@tchambers
Been using them as my backup browser for when I needed chromium. In the last week I've been transitioning over to make them my main. It's pretty great on mobile too. -
@Vivaldi is pretty nice. The only downside that I see is that it crashes when you have over 1000 tabs open, but other than that, it is awesome.

@tchambers
This week seems to be the week to switch to Vivaldi. I did too. I went through the basic settings menu, but I guess there's more I haven't seen. -
@CassandraVert I'm a fan. Takes some tinkering at first to get the UX as minimal as I wanted, but worth it.

@tchambers always worth noting as well https://vivaldi.com/blog/technology/why-isnt-vivaldi-browser-open-source/

If you haven't already, try enabling the Memory Saver in Settings > Tabs to hibernate tabs that you're not actively using. -
@Vivaldi Thanks. Perhaps you should have three settings:
1. Memory Saver On
2. Memory Saver Off
3. Memory Saver for High Tab Usage (default)
Basically, by default, turn on memory saver if they have more than x tabs open. With x determined to be whatever number is getting close to crashing the browser. -

Interesting idea! :tony_normal:
