@ShannonMT I've come close to tearing all my hair out today, I can't lie.
About to switch providers. Tempted to invoice Three for the outage today and loss of work, but as I said in my Toot (lol), I imagine they have covered themselves for that in their terms.
ROFL @ parental association - Yes, I imagine it was quite exhausting... I've heard much the same from other's who have had it.

@andycarolan Yes, I imagine it has been a very frustrating day for you Andy. I mentioned it to Dad, and he said it also happened to you a few weeks ago, so changing providers is probably a very good idea
Maybe worth a try invoicing them, although it probably has to be off for 48 hours or something
I never spend time in bed when I am ill, but this time almost 3 days, I felt really awful

@ShannonMT Yes, it did happen a few weeks ago. Apparently, they have been “working on something" in my area. They have started at 8.30am and finished at about 3.30/4.00 every time... most annoyingly, with zero warning.
I imagine invoicing them will prove futile, but I might as well try.
Aww, sounds awful... papa bear said that you must have been feeling rough to stay in bed.

That's really bad to disconnect you for that amount of time with no warning, it must have been scheduled work
Definitely worth a try with an invoice, after all if you had been notified, although annoying, you could have made other arrangements.
Yes, for a couple of days it was like very bad flu, I wanted to get up, but just felt so awful I couldn't

Yup, it's like being without coffee for a day or two... Not civilised at all!
I've emailed their executive office, so will see what comes of it. Have organised a different provider for broadband, so that's progress at least.
I only had flu once (so far), and that was enough. Similar reaction... despite best efforts, I could barely move.

I hope that you get a satisfactory reply from Three, although as you pointed out, they will probably refer you to some clause buried deep in the contract Hopefully your new provider will be better
Same for me, I have only had Flu once, it felt very much the same.

@ShannonMT I've said some very naughty words about Three today, I'm not going to lie.
It's effectively, 6 hours every day... peak times. Which is just super lovely of them.
Oh well... 3 days until the new provider's kit arrives then I will hopefully have a better connection. I can get up to 1Gbps here, but have just gone for the 250Mbps as that will be a giant improvement on what I currently have lol

6 hours a day is a huge amount anytime, but so much worse when it's in working hours
Not long to wait for your new connection I think ours here is 100Mpbs, and that's quick, so I can't even imagine what 1Gbps would be like
