I’m of the opinion that one should check for culture fit at a workplace by asking the question: donuts or bagels and cream cheese for breakfast meetings?

so we moved from Seattle to Boston, where I had my first not bad bagel? And then we moved to Brooklyn and
even before I had superior bagels, I could tell how not good the Seattle ones were. And now... mmmph. nope.

@skinnylatte I used to work at a "bagels and cream cheese Tuesday" and "breakfast burritos for All Hands" place, which was amazing, but I believe it was a zero interest rate phenomenon, because then they also did 16% layoffs in 2022
