So I just wanted to clean some cheap Ikea brush holders I got so I could stick my makeup brushes in there. But they have those annoying stickers on them.
Fetch a bottle of sticker remover liquid, remove all the goo, wash everything, put the brushes in, all good.
Hmmm, why does the bathroom still smell like sticker remover? Let me open the drawer to check if I capped it right.

Pull cap off, liquid goes everywhere including inside the huge drawer. Sigh, I guess time to clean that up.
Half an hour later: all the bottles are clean of greasy residue, drawers wiped down, unsalvageable odds and ends covered in stinky liquid thrown away. Let me give the sink a final clea- nudge the ceramic soap holder which goes off shattering on the floor.

Another half hour of cleaning the bathroom and checking for shards the dogs might hurt themselves on, then a shower, and a task that was supposed to take five minutes successfully took hour and a half (and I'm really annoyed now).
