On a related note: I’m in Kamloops this week keeping my Dad company while my Mom takes a much needed vacation, and the 7-Eleven in Aberdeen has rolled out a couple of 7-Eleven branded 90kW DC fast chargers here. I can only surmise this is part of a wider rollout for the company. -

Hmm, the app claims they’re 180kW (it also says 1xCHAdeMO 3xCCS, but theres only two towers. I wonder which vendor makes their hardware?)I may have to make a trip down there to take a look. 🤨

Got a look at the hardware; it’s not equipment that I recognize, but it looks like both nozzles on each charger can be used at the same time.Based on the layout and form-factor of the chargers my guess is that they’re like the On the Run chargers with internal batteries.

@crispius it looks like an updated version of the Ivy chargers in Ontario. (This is a pic from Thunder Bay in 2022)

Yep. That definitely looks the same.Interestingly, I signed up on their app (I plan to try out the charger on my way out of town this morning) and after adding my CC I noticed that they charged me $13.59 ($10 US maybe?). There was no indication in the app that this would happen and nowhere in the app do I see a way to view one’s balance, if there is such a thing.
Not exactly chuffed about that. 🫤
