If you want to create accessible non-gendered bathrooms at an event space that doesn't have them, you have to do slightly more than just cover the bathroom door signs. If the facilities differ (particularly menstrual products, trash cans in the stalls or baby changing tables), mention that on the new signs.

Better yet, make sure both bathrooms have these things.
