The /r/piracy link to lemmy /c/piracy hit the reddit frontpage with 7K+ updoots!

That non stacking thing annoys the piss out of me haha. It's such a small thing and it's deliberate to make the tin look bigger but it just means they're taking up more space in the cupboard for lack of stacking or falling over if you do.
Also not a huge Heinz fan. Like they're not bad don't get me wrong but definitely agree on the watery-ness.
The most popular one here is probably Bachelor's which has a thicker, richer sauce though I'm fond enough of the Lidl own brand one. That is definitely partly down to price. They're ridiculously cheap and very decent with a fry especially if you warm them slowly to soften them.
-
I see your argument and I am playing in the same field, but in reality you will scare average users away with that kind of stuff.
-
There are two Lidl beans. The extra 10p for the ring pull one gets you more than just the convenience. Worth trying both though.
Yaaarrrrns.

I was accepted, and my pick was Jean Lafitte. High seas pirates are allowed but maybe because I picked a real one and you picked a character! Try again.
Rackham aka Calico Jack was a real pirate tho

Tell me one single instance of .would admins not just copying reddit in terms of being a shit instance.
It does not exist.

Nothing spectacular on discuss.online.

/r/nerf created their communities on my instance for a migration but their base wasn't a fan so they only use [email protected] as a backup.
Mods try but people are not open to change.

Thanks, a back-up in case something happens to the subreddit lol

Well, you know those guys are extremists. Their slogan is literally "It's Nerf or Nothin'!"
-
And I recognize all you motherfuckers!I mean, welcome new folks.
-
Welcome! We've been waiting for you!
-
Oh man, I am both happy for the instance, and sorry for you lol. I hope you find somebody soon to help with going over all those applications. I don't envy you, to be honest.
-
Unfathomably based.
-
Couldn't imagine a piracy community on reddit feeling good about its future.
Reddit will literally change its rules to get rid of communities it doesn't like. They did it with DarkNetMarkets.
-
That was reverted more than a year ago

Having at least one mega instance is really good, in my opinion. Whether we like it or not, many people struggle with the idea of the fediverse and how to function inside it. If they didn't have to think about it initially it would help them and the fediverse. BlueSky and the AT protocol should never have happened IMO. But people prefer them because the experience is "better".
-
But they don't want to? What next?

It's not much work and it's a good investment it's also not as bad as you may think because there's plenty of enjoyment in learning and understanding stuff

Yes surprisingly. I haven't advertised at all yet, but we had 8 people join.
