Why are people getting wound up at the idea of there being a post on Mastodon they can't reply to?
When you post it seems natural that you should have a mechanism where you choose the group you want to be social with.
The right to speak doesn't include the responsibility of hearing a reply from anybody who wants to give one, and why should it?

Not every website on the internet allows comments. Mine don't, I don't have the time to moderate everything.
