I won't be using any of my bike specific things for a while unfortunately.
I guess a thing that I got for biking was my REI brand UPF 50 long sleeve shirt, it's a good sun shirt that is mesh-ish so isn't too too hot for the summer. Saturday it was good in that sense, it also doesn't have any holes in it after I crashed which I guess is a testament to durability. also meant I didn't directly contact the road.

@ascentale @pete A1 addendum: I am home bound currently because I crashed my bike on Saturday and broke my collarbone, so I won't be riding for a while.

@ascentale @pete posting from a French café in Marietta, GA this morning (I woke up and was out of coffee, so I decided to make a morning if getting some even though I *really* don't need to be splurging on Crepes!)
I recently bought a set of Wera torx wrenches. For hand tools these are much better than the crappy soft ones Park sells (which are fine for home use, but round out quickly in a shop setting). Do recommend.

@AngelaAntunovic @ascentale I hear good things about Ergon saddles. I have some of their grips. Oh in fact, an eBay purchase of another pair just arrived in the post today.

@pete @ascentale Nice colour. I have Ergon grips too. I'd be keen to try their cork grips if mine ever need replacing.

@AngelaAntunovic @pete @ascentale I normally love cork as a material, but I wasn't a huge fan of the ergon cork grips. They just got a bit sweaty and were harder to clean than the regular ones IMO. They felt great though.
