But seriously I do think you should need a light rigid truck licence to drive anything over 2T gross vehicle mass. Want a truck? Get a truck licence

@liamvhogan while I’m not entirely sure I agree I do understand the reasoning. Maybe it should be part of the gaining unrestricted license. Have a second practical test, in a larger vehicle that you have not driven before (because you were not allowed to under standard P plates)
