WordPress.com is not WordPress | WP Hercules
It has to be said and repeated: WordPress.com is not WordPress. My own mother was confused and thought WordPress.com was an official thing. Their branding…

@sebastienserre Now it became a little better, but main WordPressCom interface cares about accessibility much less than the .org core. I use a self-hosted and I'm connected to JetPack because I still have many readers there but I don't know how much it lasts, given that talking about HIV without talking about sex is starting to fit like tight shoes on me. Then, IMHO we shouldn't call "cancer" what we dislike, a medical condition isn't a shame. Poison/pollution are better metaphors

@sebastienserre I was thinking of Mullenweg's post and yours, and let me try another point of view: me, and maybe you as well, would never choose a managed WP hosting because "one click and it's done" means no control on our own material; can't speak for you but I speak for me, I can set up WordPress and install plugins by myself. But think of someone wanting to get a free personal diary? They won't even care about plugins so Mullenweg addresses that need. Am I right? #wordpress

@talksina I'm just sharing. This is not my post.

@sebastienserre I assumed the post was yours. Btw, I already do my best for accessibility - at least for what concerns wordpress self-hosted. JetPack and the .com are other thing.
