More and more, it operates as a dictatorship. Latest move is to clamp down even further on the mods' flexibility -- and not coincidentally, on their ability to organize protests about the corporate control-freakery.
Reddit is making sitewide protests basically impossible
Starting today, Reddit will no longer let subreddit moderators change if they are public or private without first submitting a request to a Reddit admin.
