Nodebb is getting very slow on mobile

Seems like nodebb is getting a bit slower on each version
With 4g connections it takes up to 4seconds to fully load each page. With 3g even more.
tested it on this community and on my test environment. (Categories,home,threads,etc)

My 4g download speed is 41Mbps on iphone 5S
What do you think?

strange, I get feedback from my users and they say that after updating to 1.2.0 the site loads faster on mobile and tablet.

Does it maybe have something to do with the theme you use? we use Persona theme.
