Oh hey! Kanopy is a free streaming service in the US, supported by local libraries, and I just realized they have a ton of PBS Kids programming, along with a lot of other quality programming for kids. And they offer unlimited streaming of children's programming, so if you know someone sitting their kid in front of YouTube, suggest this instead.
The only thing you need is a US library card, and that's just to sign up.

@angiebaby Kanopy is also available through Canadian libraries, as is Hoopla which has a lot of similar but occasionally a little different content.

I use Kanopy in Hamilton, Ontario as well. Interesting that library systems just down the road have totally different sets of shows, movies, etc.

My impression is there's a superset of content that is on the platform, but individual libraries can opt out of specific offerings. I don't know if that's a financial thing or other reasons. There's been a couple times that JustWatch has told me Hoopla had something but then when I clicked on it, it said my library didn't offer it. But not often; most things that say they're in Hoopla are available for me in Kitchener.
