I shit you not, I just saw a post of some guy in a hospital bed saying he had just recovered from surgery for anal fissures and was ready to get back to work
I feel like this is leaning too hard on ‘be your authentic self at work’
Or ‘being weird on LinkedIn’

@being I’m too scared to check
It was actually very earnest and sad

Anyway these folks have discovered the existence of /r/LinkedInLunatics (where I also saw this one), and they honest to god believe that being called out there is the same as being a victim of hate crime

@danilo @skinnylatte I lol’d

@darkuncle @danilo sadly I’ve been here long enough to feel this

@skinnylatte I'm still surprised anyone posts ANYTHING on LinkedIn. It's a job posting site that somehow became a stilted social network.
People who are talking to anyone but a recruiter or a candidate on the platform are weird.
-
@soviut oh some people take their LinkedIn content creation seriously
-
@skinnylatte Yes and it's very weird. The only people who will see their posts are people scrolling past as they're job hunting, or other "serious" weirdos.
