This is a casual call for guidance. I know that big and interesting developments are happening in the #Fediverse. Not just software, mind you, but the development and emergence of communities and movements.
I’ve been feeling a bit burnt out reporting on the big stuff that may or may not have “doom and gloom” implications. What are some positive or exciting things you’ve seen that I ought to write about?

A couple of interesting things that come to mind:
Island Networks / Website League - people are exploring the possibility of leveraging federation to create mutual communication networks, without necessarily tapping into the wider network.
Loops / Groups / Pixelfed Stuff - as always, @dansup continues to code up a whirlwind, and some of the biggest things might soon bear fruit.
️ Maybe talk about Fedify’s new release, maybe make a very basic federated app?
🧩 Goblin Band and Wafrn seem to be taking off as viable Tumblr alternatives? Maybe I could explore that?

The truth is that, as the network continues to grow, it gets more and more difficult to keep an eye on everything that’s happening. I want to try and focus on some positive things, because I’ve been indundated with negativity for a while now.
Truth be told, I’m extremely tired. Some days, I think about just turning the project off, and noping out.
