Why not just use DFP and load the ads into the widget system?

Yet another system. Want to keep it simple DFP have some bugs now and then and i only use adsence.

@Jenkler totally new to me that DFP is buggy. If you want to go professional and want to serve more than only AdSense as your main provider, you should definitely give it a try. Furthermore DFP will also allow you to run targeted ads, which might be interesting for direct advertisers (if you have any).

@Jenkler this shouldn't be a problem. You can even utilize the responsive ad units from AdSense in DFP.
All what you want to do is to create a new line item and put the AdSense code as a creative in it.

And I want to use nodebb-plugin-adsense. This was merely a small feature request.

@Jenkler still with DFP you also can use AdSense and later on even more platforms.
So basically you benefit from:

• Higher scalability
• Update independence
