Blind friend who was recently hit by a car is heading home from physical rehab next week. She'll be in a wheelchair + her assisted living apt is not very accessible, so she needs a shower bench + guardrails for her bathroom.
She does have some help scheduled but I'm sure that extra funds for food + accessibility gear would be appreciated.

@nat wanted to add that this friend has had one of the roughest life experiences of anyone I’ve known… and that’s saying something (since most of my friends are disabled)!!!!
Truly anything helps as she navigates new disabilities brought on by poverty and a shitty system stacked against us.

If you do have extra funds to send, please go for it! This is going to be a very difficult transition, and she deserves some joy and respite.
