Private Eye reports that British Transport #Police have closed most of their #X/#Twitter accounts; North Wales Police have left entirely; and "top cops" wonder if the platform is worth it. A BTP post on the appointment of a woman ACC attracted "nasty, vile and homophobic" responses

@Peternimmo It's a toxic wasteland and yet i can tell via the few connections I made to Bsky that most of them are still on there as their main social media platform. You wonder how bad it has got to get before they invest their time elsewhere. People hate change.
