Someone just came by my house and tried to collect our mail-in ballots. They said they were representing a local democratic politician, and said that they would deliver our ballot for us. We asked for his identification, which he gave, and any sort of identification showing he was with who he said he was with. And he supplied all of it.
And we still didn’t give him our ballots.
I don’t know if this guy was legit or not, but there’s no fucking way I’m taking a chance with this election.

@Mrfunkedude That seems shady to me.

@adhdeanasl @Mrfunkedude That's ballot harvesting. It's not technically illegal, but with everything that's going on? Yeah, best to drop off your ballot yourself.
There's fuckery about.

@Legit_Spaghetti @adhdeanasl After I read your post, I checked and yeah ballot harvesting is legal here in California.
Don’t care. I’m still not willing to take the chance.

@Mrfunkedude @Legit_Spaghetti @adhdeanasl You people from USA never stop surprising me at how many legal loopholes you have for potential election fraud.
From getting your voting rights revoked for multiple reasons (excuse me????) to this.
Keep it simple: One adult person, one vote. And that vote can only be deposited in official places. Period.
All the rest is... potential fraud waiting to happen.

Yeah. It all becomes clearer when you realize it's fundamentally a system designed by wealthy white guys to keep them in power. So all of these exploitable flaws are actually features.
