I was going to be posting more about my #MuC2024 adventures today, but that typical conference thing happened where I kept meeting old and new friends and spent all the breaks happily chatting with no time to look at social media.

After the Student Research Competition (amusing highlight: Vedder et al. using EEG signals to automatically adjust your streaming music to your current mood) I headed to the research methods workshop I talked about yesterday. Great workshop keynote by @katta there.

Also a bunch of insightful contributions on the question of how HCI research methods can be wielded to keep the human centered, now on the workshop website: https://unisg.link/MuCWorkshop2024/ Great work organizing by @florian_mathis, @BertoldScharf and Jolanta Paliszewska.
I ended up leaving the poster session pretty early because the last short night started catching up to me. Heading to bed now-ish and presenting this in the Urban Future workshop tomorrow morning: https://fietkau.science/reflecting_smart_city_older_adults

@odr_k4tana It's one of those things I would personally never touch, and even kind of resent its existence in the abstract. Yet at the same time, it is on some level very amusing to me.
