Hi, Is there any way to install NodeBB on my PC running Windows 7 Ulitmate / Ubuntu 12.04 ? I guess WAMP is not an option. I would like to try the latest version. Also can you recommend any free host where I can do a test install and play with it ? Thanks.
@julian, @baris, and @psychobunny, I think this should be considered a bug. A topic with the same title as an existing one.
Sorry, we pushed a bug to live a few hours ago. All sorted out though.
Unfortunately, this isn't like most PHP forums where you just drop the files and it works... requires a little bit more effort (usually a VPS instead of a shared host), so they don't really give those away freely
However, Heroku does offer a free plan, with Redis2go's free plan, you can cobble together a working NodeBB installation.
Hey @meetdilip you can set up NodeBB on https://koding.com/ for free
