@[email protected] @[email protected] at least you had engagement. they shadow-banned me to the point i thought people who i knew were ignoring me when, in truth, i wasn't even appearing on their timelines. that was befor Apartheidboi bought it. then he came in and with the changes on how they now count things, it almost looks like i never had any followers at all (because most people who engaged where not blue checks). the only reason i don't pull the kill switch is to avoid vacating & gifting fascists, my handle.

@[email protected] @[email protected] they were reinstated but will be shadow banned and all their posts with be just close to black-holed. this happened to me about 5 years ago and tracked it before that for almost 2 years. yes, the practice pre-dates Musk. this was put in place by Dorsey. it's why Dorsey wanted Musk to be on the board of Twitter to begin with. they're birds of a feather.

also, Twitter found it easier to neutralize influential Black folks like me by shadow-banning us. and with shadow-banning, ironically, came a decline in racist abuse. the problem is that with shadow-banning not even all my followers would see my posts. another data point: LISTS. Twitter was transparent on who would put you on a surveillance list. they didn't even have to follow you. not such thing on Mastodon (i don't use other AP software so can't speak of others). @[email protected] @[email protected]

@KatM @[email protected] yeah, the excuse of the reply guy is a little too much of fainting couches and fragile egos. i left over 20 thousand followers on Twitter because they have my account not only shadow banned but every time i would hit 30k followers, iād lose from 5k to 10k. this was BEFORE Apartheidboi took over. they were blocking any follower growth. i won't trust corporate social media ever again. when am finally done with cancer therapy, am getting my own fediverse server.
