odd UX problem that surprisingly aligns between old mormons and trans peeps:
someone wanted to edit a photo that showed them back in time when they went by a different name, to label them as such. (gasp! a preferred name!)
(okay in this case they wanted to deadname themselves so it doesn't quite stack up but you get the point. let people tell their own story about themselves)
((also that UI really doesn't consider the idea that they might have divorced husbands who also have kids. or that they might have multiple parents due to divorce. because just... erase that thought. mormons don't *gasp* get divorced))
silly thing I learned today. But nice people.

my grandfather excitedly showed me the geneology software we had our family tree on and how it accounted for multiple marriages (when i was in elementary school, mid 90s)

well it was pretty necessary to map our genealogy because of multiple marriage lol
