With a hurricane you often don't know ahead of time whether to stock up, to ride it out locally, or to flee.

The calculus in fleeing is always more complex than anyone who has never done it before can imagine.

Also: no matter what happens or what you decide people will decide that your decisions and thoughts on this were wrong.
