One of the unanticipated side effects of the UK giving back some islands in the Indian Ocean is that those islands are responsible for the .io TLD and that will need to go - because of the rules

According to the rules the domains will be online for at least 5 more years, and even then is that a guaranteed decision?

The .su domain still exists despite the Soviet Union being dissolved decades ago.
