@samir yeah, but hire me when? I have sooooo much work on my books at the moment. As I'm balancing a large EU grant, and leading a trust & safety task force and doing all my open source contributions.

I was thinking @sovtechfund maybe, but as I don't own the projects I couldn't really apply last I checked.

Don't get me wrong, I can usually schedule in additional work, but it means I'm not able to do other work. There's only limited time in a day

@samir @sovtechfund I could get a 6-12 month contract away from the Fediverse, but I really don't want to be working contract like that because:
a) doesn't really bring me joy
b) I have so many important things I'm currently working on.

You'd think they'd be like "this person has been in Germany for 9.5 years, and clearly has been able to make an income" that they'd just let me continue doing what I'm doing, but apparently not?
