We've finally got confirmation that the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R has cruise control! Cruise control is rare as hens teeth on learner-legal bikes, so this is very welcome.

The 390 Enduro R doesn't get cruise control. In its place is a button to disable ABS.
Whether the 390 SMC R has cruise control is still unknown.

I reckon cruise is very useful. As I get older, my hands hurt more. I'm seriously considering adding an aftermarket Veridian cruise control to the 690, so that they hurt less, and most importantly, I can continue enjoying riding.
Not to mention that cruise enables consistent speeds, no more happily tooling along, glancing down and realising you've been enjoying yourself so much that you're 30km/h over the limit

@thefathippy It's so easy to accidentally go a bit over the speed limit. I've always wanted cruise control, and I'm glad my next bike will have it as an option. I tried throttle locks, but they weren't the same.
