Change avatar color background without uploading an image?

Hello,

Is there a way to change the background color of an avatar without uploading a pic? The colors seem to be random at the moment and some users would just like to change the color rather than having to find and image.

@pichalite Thanks.. Any one know what the name of the object is where it is stored? I tried looking under the user object but couldnt see anything for the color.

@whitts I was wrong... it's not in the database

there is a predefined list of colors here...
