@ted it is pretty great
-
@skinnylatte Look, I’m not really a bad person but I might be a bit jealous of your new job 🥹
-
56. I posted a question in Q&A ‘Will a science-y person tell me the name of this fish?’ (It was long spine combfish, and a director of animal operations personally responded)

@skinnylatte when Stripeydottir was very, very small, my Darling and I took her to the #aquarium here in #boston, several days in a row, during my lunch break from work, so always at the same time.
'dottir was just big enough to be toddling a bit, and was fascinated by the octopus. Towards the end of the week, it seemed as though maybe there was a hint of mutual admiration there. -

59. You might have missed this if you haven’t seen my other threads about Monterey. But here’s a sight and sound I see / hear on my way to work in the morning
-
@skinnylatte I've been super busy the last couple of weeks and also staying mostly off-line and just caught up with this whole thread and it's so fascinating. I haven't been to the aquarium for many years but used to go for five times a year with my daughter, it's such a wonderful place. Did I miss if you are moving there or commuting part-time?
-
@lmc I’m commuting currently I go in once a week and stay a night but am still figuring out what I want to do. We have lots of remote tech folks but I actually enjoy spending time there

60. here's an aquarium personality quiz from my workplace: https://www.montereybayaquarium.org/stories/exhibit-aesthetics-quiz

@skinnylatte "Your aesthetic is cottagecore and lush like the Kelp Forest exhibit!”
Now I need to go and lookup what cottagecore is.
