@whitequark @untitaker no worries. it's one of the most pernicious faults of the way federation works here and this is far from the first time harassement has ended up being near-invisible to all but the target(s).

I have at points considered running a proxy which temporarily saves copies of incoming federation HTTP requests including the HTTP signatures from the origin
