#U.S. military contractors will now be allowed to work in #Ukraine repairing and maintaining weaponry given by the U.S., Reuters writes.

They will not engage in combat and will be far from the front, but this is still a big shift in U.S. policy.

Kyiv's ties with the UK have soured under #Starmer, The Guardian writes.

The #UK hasn’t given new long-range missiles, possibly why Starmer hasn’t visited since becoming PM.

Kyiv said such a visit would only be useful if the UK promised to renew stocks of Storm Shadow #missiles.

Trump’s administration views Crimea's return to #Ukraine as unrealistic, focusing instead on achieving peace in Ukraine rather than reclaiming territory, his senior adviser claimed.

According to him, #Kyiv should still aim to regain its land but it should negotiate along current front lines.

#Russia has sentenced 2 soldiers to life in prison for murdering an entire Ukrainian family in the #Donetsk region.

They killed 9 civilians, including 2 children aged 5 and 9.

This is a rare instance of Russia holding its own military accountable for war crimes in #Ukraine.
