Further discussion of AI displacing employees.
The reason CEOs think that AI can do so many jobs is because CEO's think:
- That CEOs are the most valuable & hard working employee
- CEOs recognize that AIs can replace them
- Therefore, AIs should be able to replace most if not all white-collar employees underneath them.
#2 is related to me by a C-suite employee who has heard this from multiple CEOs.

This exactly + the implied subpoint of (1) which is that they have no idea what anyone who works for them actually does. -
@jonny @Taweret @starkraving666 This is very often the case. Of course, with a large company, it's impossible to have a reasonable idea of what any given employee does. You may (or may not) be shocked how few CEOs understand the role their product plays for the people who consume it. It's not relevant for them, apparently.
