@renchap @timetinytim absolutely! we are doing a few database-related side quests before flipping to `pgcat` in prod, but we currently have https://hachyderm.wtf (test instance) on it and it seems happy! :blobfoxscience:

@esk @timetinytim Did you also try to enable prepared statement support in pgbouncer? Thats something that has been on my backlog for some time, but some of my other customers reported significant perf improvements with pgbouncer with this option enabled

@renchap @esk @timetinytim something else to also note is that pgcat has prometheus metrics support, which I don't believe pgbouncer has.
