I'm trying to install GhostBSD on a ThinkPad A475.
I booted into the liveUSB demo and everything seems to be detected except wi-fi and bluetooth. It's a Realtek RTL8822BE adapter.
If I proceed, will it install the drivers automatically or will I need to spend time figuring this out after?

@jnv Listen to the machine. It doesn’t want to connect to anything else. That’s the way.

I'm surprised that the trackpad and pointer work as well as the keyboard lighting right out of the gate.
Guess it is always the wireless adapter stuff that rarely has drivers.

@thumb I guess it is more secure this way.

Seems the Realtek RTL8822BE isn't supported in any BSD from what I have read. Most of the information is old but putting that on the back burner for tonight.
I'll try and see if I can get it to work on the Acer Chromebook C720 that used to run PopOS and Fedora.

Well that didn't work as well. No sound or trackpad but wi-fi worked. That ends the experimenting for tonight. I'll keep Fedora on that unit for now.
