Ironically, Saskatchewan is/was the birthplace of Canadian leftism/socialism and Public Healthcare with the CCF party in the 1930s starting in Saskatchewan. They became what is now the NDP and brought National Healthcare to all Canadians in the 60s.
But that's back when farmers were socialists…
Things have shifted a bit…
