@noleli There's a lot of what I'd consider 'table stakes' for me to use their stuff in lieu of Adobe's. I keep checking them out, but they keep not making the cut.

@octothorpe What other shortcomings have you run into? I haven’t used Adobe in years. Been using Acorn for photos, but haven’t had a vector editor (other than Figma and Penpot). With the 50% off sale, figure I might as well.

@noleli yeah, totally check it out.

But yeah, their type engine is shit, the way they render stuff (ex: vectors, noise, blurs) is not great, and the way they do colourspaces colour mixing is… not great.
