I do not have a single nice thing to say today. Fuck this country to hell

I don't blame anyone. I blame everyone. Fucking group effort, this was

People chose this. People are responsible for the choice they made. IT WASN'T EVEN CLOSE

They're bad people and it's their fault for choosing a bad thing, they were not deceived, this was not attributable to some series of campaigning fumbles, people want to do bad things, it is that simple

**It is not your fault that people are evil**

My problem is not with this one guy anymore. My fight is with 71,454,154 people

@zinnia This is an understandable sentiment, but it's not a productive attitude. Yesterday's outcome is the product of misinformation and outright disinformation. Most of these people are low-information, low-propensity voters. Politics or even the news just isn't their thing. To succeed, we need to win some of them over. The more of them we win over, the better. Start now.

@nickaubert @zinnia respectfully, that's bollocks. The people who believe Trump's "alternative reality" are mostly people who choose to because they identify with his politics, they're the ones who when you try to reason with them or provide honest information put their fingers in their ears and go "lalalalalala I can't hear you". (It's not uniquely a US problem, but it's worse in the US than in most Western countries and it has a bigger detrimental impact on the rest of the planet.)
