@[email protected] are we talking the little dribbles of pre plastic that beads on the hotend while it moves around the build plate during leveling (because it's heating the hot end and that causes some plastic to leak out sometimes). or are we talking about that little squirt of filament it extrudes post leveling right before the print

@[email protected] the former, specifically in my printers case it dribbles some on the build plate while it's heating up in the corner

@puppygirlhornypost2 @julia fwiw, keep in mind you're not supposed to be heating the build plate during leveling sensor probes because it warps and can give you a level that's inconsistent depending on where on the plate the nozzle is

@[email protected] @[email protected] i'll keep this in mind next time i fuck with my 3d printer but i don't know where it is currently and i have one at work but it just sits there because trauma.

@[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] wait I thought you were supposed to heat the bed to your print temp before probing so it would actually be accurate when you print?

@[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] i believe my printer just waits actually for both hotend and plate. my point still stands it's actively being heated and so there's a bead of filament
